Welcome to the Fort Hunt Baseball Umpire Program
We operate under the Little League philosophy that this is a game of and for kids ... WE ENCOURAGE FUN AND LEARNING FOR THEM AND OUR VOLUNTEER UMPIRES. Our goal is to provide the players with the best umpiring possible. We try to ensure that every umpire is ready when they walk on the field. Umpiring is not learned overnight but we have numerous resources and opportunities for training and practice to get you started and keep you up to date on rules and techniques. The resources available on this site appear daunting but be patient and access them regularly and often. It usually takes a few years experience before a ump feels comfortable.
