Our Fall Baseball program consists of the following League levels
("League Age" is your child’s age as of April 30th, 2009):
AA:
- Machine-Pitch; 60 Field
- Generally league age 8 & 9 (born 5/1/99 to 4/30/01)
- Clinic-based instruction (see Note 1 below) with games organized on
Saturdays
AAA:
- Kid-Pitch; 60 Field
- Generally league age 10 & 11 (born 5/1/97 to 4/30/99)
- Clinic-based instruction (see Note 1 below) with games organized on
Saturdays
Majors:
- Kid-Pitch; 60’ Field
- Generally league age 11 & 12 (born 5/1/96 to 4/30/98)
- Teams will be set up by draft; games weeknights & Saturdays
Juniors/Seniors:
- Kid-Pitch; 90’ Field
- League age 13-16 (born 5/1/92 to 4/30/96)
- Teams will be set up by draft; games weeknights & Saturdays
NOTES:
1. Fort Hunt Baseball will continue an approach in AA & AAA that
combines Clinic-Based instruction with organized "pick-up" games on
Saturdays in an effort to focus on developing critical skills in a less
competitive environment.
2. Final league placement will be made by league management based on
both parent request and number, skill, and age of all registrants.
3. NO skills evaluations or tryouts in the fall.
4. NO geographic boundaries in the fall.
