Welcome to the 2011 Fort Hunt Football and Cheerleading Program. The 2011 season is expected to be a season of new and exciting opportunities for the Fort Hunt Football and Cheerleading Program. Overall the 2010 season was a success and I plan for 2011 is to building on that success as well as focus on growing the program for the future. In addition, I plan to implement organizational changes to improve customer service, equipment management, concession operations and volunteer support.
These changes combined with the steadfast commitment to our guiding principles of Respect, Address, Plan and Build, will position our program for greater success in 2011 and beyond.
1. Respect everyone involved in the program.
2. Address all Issues and Concerns as quickly as possible.
3. Plan for the future.
4. Build lasting relationships.
My top initiative for the 2010 season was to rebuild the Cheerleading program. The new Director of Cheerleading assumed control and the program is well on its way to becoming a shining star.
The top initiative for 2011 is to start a flag football program. The flag football program will be under the direct supervision and responsibility of the Assistant Commissioner for the first season. During that season, I will select Director of Flag Football take over the program after the first season. The Assistant Commissioner is empowered to use creative and innovative methods to attract, recruit and register players as well as build a solid foundation for the future of flag football.
Fort Hunt Football and Cheerleading is an organization that has a long legacy of upholding honest and trustworthy values in the community. Our program has helped mold countless outstanding young women and men. As the Commissioner, I am firmly committed to continuing this legacy as well as positioning the program for a successful future.
Again, I want to welcome you to the 2011 season of the Fort Hunt Football and Cheerleading Program.
Sincerely,
Derrick A. Spearman
Commissioner
