"A Winning Tradition, on and off the field"

Updated 8/30/08

Lacrosse, considered to be America’s first sport, was born of the North American Indian, christened by the French, and adapted and raised by the Canadians. Modern lacrosse has been embraced by athletes and enthusiasts of the United States and the British Commonwealth for over a century.

The sport of lacrosse is a combination of basketball, soccer and hockey. Anyone can play lacrosse--the big or the small. The game requires and rewards coordination and agility, not brawn. - US Lacrosse

*Boys Commissioner Note:  Players will be assigned to teams in their NVYLL age division. We will not field requests from parents to have their players "play up" to an older division.  Experienced U9 players desiring to play in the NVYLL rather than our new U9 "House League" may request permission to participate in the U-11 skills evaluation to be considered for placement on a U-11 team if space allows.   Under certain circumstances, such as if the number of players in a particular division does not allow us to meet the NVYLL restrictions on roster sizes, the commissioner may request that selected players "play up" to the next higher division.
