Leagues (Age Groups)*
*Final league placement will be made by league managers based on both parent request and on number, skill, and age of all registrants.

In the fall, Fort Hunt Softball focuses heavily on instruction in an effort to develop critical skills in a less competitive environment. (Teams play games, but there are no end of season tournaments).

This fall there will be 3 leagues:
  • 9 & Under (coach-pitch)
  • 12 & Under (kid-pitch)
  • 13 & Older (kid-pitch)
The three leagues are generally based on age. This helps ensure the level of play is competitive and allows the players to move up as skills develop.

The player’s official age is the attained age before or during any point in the season. (Example: A player who will turn 10 before the end of the season is appropriately placed in the 12 & Under League.) Any player, with appropriate skill set, may "play up" in an older league. Special requests for placement in a lower league for physical or skills reasons may always be addressed to league management.

Skills Evaluations
There are No skills evaluations in the Fall.

Refunds
FHYAA requires that a $25 administration fee be charged for all refunds.  Total amount of refund is determined on a case by case basis.
